<p>The plug (2) has a cylindrical main body (4) provided with a connection (16) of a pressure line. A sleeve (10) is coupled to the cylindrical main body such that the sleeve and the cylindrical main body form an outwardly sealed pressurized area (14) that communicates with the connection of the pressure line via a pressure supply (18). The sleeve is formed from a permanently deformable material such that the sleeve remains deformed above a yield point of the material for permanently sealed closing a pipe. A check valve (17) is located in the pressure supply. An independent claim is also included for a method for closing a pipe.</p> |
