<p>The method involves arranging exposure heads (11) on a carrier, and driving the exposure heads by a feed spindle (13) in a feed direction. The spindle is rotatably driven by a feed drive (14), and a pressure plate (3) is illustrated by the exposure heads based on image data, where the drive is controlled by a control device. A positioning error of the exposure heads is corrected based on a spindle pitch error of the spindle, as feed movement of the spindle is overlaid with a correction movement that is described by a spline function.
