PURPOSE: A device and a method for confirming position of an inlet hole are provided, which can confirm the location of an inlet port and inject fuel. CONSTITUTION: A device for confirming position of an inlet hole comprises a turn table(700), an optical sensor array(600), and a controller(1000). An injecting container(500) having the inlet port(500a) in the upper side of the turn table is arranged in the bottom. The turn table rotates the injecting container around the vertical central axis of the injecting container. The optical sensor array is arranged on the circle trace of the inlet port of the injecting container. The optical sensor array generates an output signal according to reflection light when the injecting container revolves.
