DIAGNOSING AGENT FOR DETECTING HEPATIC TOXICITY CAUSED BY PACLITAXEL

摘要

The invention relates to the sphere of novel use of 13C methacetine, in particular the use of the said substance in precognition of paclitaxel induced liver injury. The substance allows to predict possibly toxic impact to liver tissues of paclitaxel, which is a widely used drug for chemotherapy, thereby in case of need allowing to reduce paclitaxel dose used in therapy in order to avoid the toxic liver injury.
