摘要 FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes pre-heating of pipeline walls under insulation to create temperature drop across layer of heat insulation as a result of adiabatic increase of gas temperature in process of pipeline pressurising and further heat monitoring of temperature fields on outer surface of heat insulation. Heat monitoring chamber moves along pipeline to the side of pressurising gas source in compliance with law of temperature maximum motion along pipeline length. ^ EFFECT: method provides for the possibility to monitor quality of heat insulation of lengthy pipelines with application of maximum contrast of infrared images, reduction of power inputs for performance of control. ^ 10 dwg
