FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: ICE starter comprises power transfer mechanism (60). Power transfer mechanism (60) comprises: power transfer elements on engine side (20) and motor side (30), one-way clutch (50) and sealing elements (61, 62). Power transfer element on engine side (20) is attached to engine output shaft (11). Power transfer element on motor side (30) is arranged to revolve relative to output shaft (11) and is coupled with motor to start the engine. One-way clutch (50) transfers torque between power transfer elements (20, 30). Power transfer element (60) is lubed from the engine housing. Contact section between output shaft (11) and power transfer element on engine side (20) has partially recessed part. The latter includes sealing extending part. Recessed part is made on at least one of contact surfaces and located all around output shaft (11). Said recessed part represents grooves. Grooves can be helical or coaxial.
