<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for displaying the location of the mobile terminal on a map are provided to easily display a particular location on a map through location information of various contents, thereby improving convenience. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal displays contents on a first area(S10). If the contents are displayed on the first area, the mobile terminal obtains location information from the contents(S30). If the location information is obtained from the contents, the mobile terminal displays a map corresponding to the location information on a second area(S60). The location information is included in the contents as at least one format among text, image, and voice.</p> |
