PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device is provided to improve visibility by suppressing the reflection of external light through an optical member. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting device(L1) is formed by successively stacking a first electrode, an organic light emitting layer, and a second electrode. A transmissivity control layer(585) is formed on the organic light emitting device. A selective reflective layer(583) is formed on the transmissivity control layer which is a cholesteric liquid crystal layer. A polarization plate(581) is formed on the selective reflective layer. A phase retardation plate(582) is arranged between the organic light emitting device and the polarization plate.
