PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for calculating a temperature for a rolling process using a bar cooler are provided to obtain excellent materials by precisely observing a control rolling temperature while improving productivity of TMCP steel. CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating a temperature for a rolling process using a bar cooler comprises the following steps: a step(S1) confirming availability of the bar cooler; a step(S2) calculating a temperature decline amount of the bar when the bar cooler is transferred to a rolling mill; and a step(S3) calculating the temperature of the bar entering into the rolling mill.
