<p>In a round of golf, monitoring of the number of times that a golf ball has been struck into each hole, positioning of each struck ball, identification of club used and, in general, management of each round in an individual, centralized manner, based on RFID (radiofrequency identifier) and GPS (global positioning system) technologies. The principal area of application is leisure pursuits, specifically the sport of golf, although the invention may be extrapolated, with the necessary adaptations, to other sports or uses.</p> |
