FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises one source of gamma-radiation located next to reservoir, one detector of gamma radiation located next to reservoir, in which one detector of gamma-radiation is configured to detect gamma radiation from one source of gamma radiation scattered in reverse direction by fluid medium; and converter for transformation of detected gamma radiation scattered in reverse direction into density value.
