METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING IP ADDRESS CONFLICT IN REMOTE ACCESS SERVICE

PURPOSE: An IP address anti-collision method and a device thereof are provided to prevent the collision of the IP address when a device which has same IP address in a network including a remote access client or server using an UPnP(Universal Plug and Play). CONSTITUTION: A RADA(Remote Access Discovery Agent)(3210) receives network address information of an opposite end server from an opposite end server which is connected in a remote site. The RADA decides the collision of the network address between the server and the opposite end server by comparing network address information of the server with the received network address information. The RATA(Remote Access Transport Agent)(3230) comprises an ALG(Application Level Gateway). When the collision is generated, the ALG changes the address in which collision is generated.
