PURPOSE: A composition for removing tacky substance is provided to remove sticky components on a substrate and remaining sticky components, and to recycle the substrate through removal of sticky components. CONSTITUTION: A composition for removing tacky substance comprises 5-30 weight% tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide, 40-70 weight% at least one selected from the group consisting of monoalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, dialkylene glycol monoalkyl ether and trialkyleneglycol monoalkylether, and the remaining amount of water. The composition for removing tacky substance further includes at least one additive selected from the group consisting of metal ion scavenger and a pH control agent.
