E-PAPER DISPLAY CARD AND THE DESIGN METHODS

PURPOSE: A card using electric paper display and a design method thereof are provided to offer an active card capable of displaying moving pictures. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(Central Processing Unit) and a memory are formed in a smart card IC(Integrated Circuit)(4). A driver IC(5) controls electric paper display(1) through a rear circuit(2). A thin film battery(3) supplies power. Various another functions are implemented through a button(6). Using an electric paper panel of a passive matrix type, an expensive process is omitted. By implementing a screen of a matrix type, a function of moving pictures is implemented.
