PURPOSE: A tool holder for tool exchange using an adapter is provided to prevent a tool from being deviated from the center of the rotation in the rotation of the tool by mounting the adapter on a center axis of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A tool holder for tool exchange using an adapter comprises a housing(10), an adapter(20), a rotary shaft(30), and a clamp(40). The adapter has a tool acceptor(21), a joint projection(23), and a body part(25). The rotary shaft is mounted on the housing to be rotated. The rotary shaft has an adapter receiving part(31) which includes an adapter receiving tape plane(32). The adapter receiving tape plane engages with the inclination of the body part along the central axis to insert the adapter. The clamp closely attaches the body part to the adapter acceptance tape.
