PURPOSE: An artificial marble is provided to secure more colorful, polished and beautiful exterior ornament effect by emitting lights from an optical fiber installed in the inside or the rear side in the night time. CONSTITUTION: An artificial marble comprises the following: a base resin including a transparent resin unit; and multiple optical fibers located in the inside of the base resin. The optical fiber is a translucency optical fiber. The base resin is selected from the group consisting of an acrylic resin, an unsaturated polyester resin, an epoxy resin and a melamine resin. The light transmission rate of the transparent resin unit is over 80%. The transparent resin unit includes a transparent pigment or a transparent dye. |
