PURPOSE: A traffic accident location checking system is provided to transmit information of the latitude and longitude of an accident location displayed in a navigation screen through a mobile communications unit, thereby enabling more exact and convenient location checking. CONSTITUTION: If an accident occurs, a user checks GPS location coordinates through a navigation device(100). Using the checked GPS location coordinates, accident reception is performed. Based on the GPS location information, an accident location is checked. The accident location and accident contents are transmitted to a dispatched car. Arrival time information and remaining distance information is transmitted from the dispatched car. Through the information, estimated arrival time and remaining distance of the dispatched car are checked.
