The assembly has a cylinder block with a crankshaft (1) that is driven to rotate in the cylinder block, and a motor balance shaft (8) connected in rotation to the crankshaft by a pinion (14). A clip type rotation blocking unit blocks a rotation of the balance shaft with respect to the cylinder block, where the blocking unit angularly supports the balance shaft with respect to the crankshaft when the pinion is disintegrated from the crankshaft.
