APPARATUS AND METHODE FOR DECREASING POWER COMSUMPTION OF MOBILE DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A power consumption decreasing device of a mobile display device and a method thereof are provided to modify a character color value and a background color value into power saving color values. CONSTITUTION: An HTML(Hyper-Text Markup Language) source of an image transmitted through wire/wireless communication are received(S1). Whether a current display mode is a power save mode is decided(S3). A character color value and a background color value of the image are extracted from the received HTML source(S5). At least one value among the extracted character and background color values is modified into a preset power save mode color value(S7). The image is displayed depending on the HTML source of which color value is modified(S9).
