PURPOSE: An error warning device of a video storage system for vehicles is provided to warn a user when an error giving an effect to a video data processed by the video storage system occurs to the video storage system. CONSTITUTION: An error warning device of a video storage system for vehicles comprises the following: an error detector(160) detecting errors from a camera(110), a video data processing module(130) and a memory(150) and generating a control signal to warn a user for the errors; and an error warning unit generating a warning sound or warning display by the control signal. The error detector detects cases including a wrong image inputted to the camera, a processing error of image data from the video data processing module and others.
