PURPOSE: A display device and a display method for outputting a digital signal are provided to display an image without a deterioration of picture quality when connecting multiple display devices, and to output one image regardless of the form of an input signal. CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises the following: a first input unit(310) supplied with a first image signal in a first form; an image processor(330) processing the first image signal; a converting unit(340) converting the first image signal into a second form; an output unit(350) outputting the first image in the second form to another display device; and a second input unit(320) supplied with a second image signal in the second form. The image processor displays the second image signal.
