PURPOSE: An IPTV(internet protocol TV) receiver and a channel changing method thereof are provided to reduce a channel changing time by remarkably reducing a pre-processing time of the channel change time. CONSTITUTION: An IPTV(internet protocol TV) receiver comprises the following: a first receiver(818) receiving an FCC(fast channel change) information of an A/V(audio/video) stream corresponding an Internet broadcast service; a storing unit(820) mapping the FCC information with the Internet broadcast service and storing the FCC information; a setting unit setting the state to display the A/V stream using the FCC information after receiving a channel change signal; a second receiver receiving the A/V stream; and a controller displaying the A/V stream using a setting result.
