PURPOSE: An electro-optical display apparatus is provided to prevent the degradation of an aperture ratio due to a polar solvent by densely aggregating the polar solvent of an electro-optical material in a non-display area using a first electrode of the non-display area. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(110) has a plurality of pixels. The pixel includes a display area and a non-display area. An image is marked on the display area. The non-display area is contiguous to the display area. A first electrode(180) is arranged in the non-display area. A second substrate(210) faces to the first substrate. A second electrode(220) is arranged on the second substrate. The second electrode and the first electrode form an electric field. An electro-optical material(300) is included between the first electrode and the second electrode.
