PURPOSE: A defect inspecting device for a container is provided to easily detect defects like pinholes on one side of a container by using a filter and a photographic apparatus responding to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A defect inspecting device for a container(1) comprises: a light source(10) which directs ultraviolet light to one side of the container; a filter(20) which senses the ultraviolet light which is in the range of a specific wavelength among the ultraviolet light; and a photographing unit(30) which takes an image of the ultraviolet, which has a specific wavelength, from the filter and creates an inspection image for detecting a defect of the container.
