DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve image quality by dividing a gate signal into a pre-charge section with a first gate on level and a main charge section with a second gate on level higher than the first gate on level. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(300) includes a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of pixels which is defined on the region cross the data line. A clock generator(600) provides a gate clock signal using a gate on voltage and a clock generation signal provided from a timing controller. A gate driver(400) provides a gate signal to the gate line in response to the gate clock signal.
