DESIGN A SWITCH WRAPPER FOR SNP AND AMBA-AHB

摘要

PURPOSE: A switch wrapper design method for SNP and AMBA-AHB is provided to perform communications between an IP which supports an AMBA-AHB(Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture-the Advanced High performance Bus) interface and an IP which supports an SNP(SoC Network Protocol) interface, thereby reusing various existing AHB based IPs. CONSTITUTION: Each switch wrapper(SW) connects two IPs which support AHB or SNP. Each switch wrapper comprises one switch, two AMBA-SNP converters, one controller, and two interface modules. The switch wrapper implements the communications between IPs which support AMBA-AHB and SNP interface.
