<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct well by a simple processing system color variation caused by a two-liquid reaction in an image forming apparatus in the case of image formation of a two-liquid reaction type using a processing liquid which insolubilizes or coagulates an ink, and to carry out image formation of a plurality of the number of sheets at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: Preliminarily in step S1, a plurality of image data are formed by correcting color variation due to a difference in reaction speed of the ink at the time of image formation using an environmental condition possible as an environmental condition at the time of image formation as a parameter to the same original image data. In step S2, the plurality of image data are stored. Thereafter, the environmental condition is detected in step S3, and image data corresponding to the detected environmental condition is selected from the preliminarily stored plurality of image data in step S4.
