<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field strength information detection method for acquiring, even if a field strength is varied owing to an influence of fading or the like, field strength information that the influence has been reduced, and to provide a mobile station positioning system employing the field strength information detection method. <P>SOLUTION: A quality evaluation section 50 (SA8) calculates a correlation value as a quality evaluation value evaluating quality of a received radio wave on the basis of each of a plurality of quality evaluation information items included in the radio wave related to one time of reception, and a field strength information calculation section 52 (SA7) calculates field strength information of the received radio wave for each time interval corresponding to each of the plurality of quality evaluation information items. When the correlation value calculated by the quality evaluation section 50 is lower than a predetermined threshold to be thereby determined as meeting predetermined quality, a field strength information selection section 54 (SA9) selects as field strength information interval field strength information in the time interval corresponding to the quality evaluation information for which the correlation value has been calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
