<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately stop a cam member 72 by not erroneously detecting a movement distance of the cam member 72 by vibration of the cam member 72 at stopping. <P>SOLUTION: If a cam member driving motor 92 is driven and predetermined number of pulses of a cam member FG sensor 59 is counted after a cam member HP sensor 56 does not detect a flag 101, braking is applied to stop driving of the motor 92, and a stopping area of the cam member 72 is determined based on the output of the cam member HP sensor 56. Thereafter, the motor 92 is driven at a low speed to perform reproduction action of over-running until the output of the cam member HP sensor 56 is varied, and after the motor is stopped, the stopping position is measured from the number of pulses of the cam member FG sensor 59 from subsequent activation to detection of a sensor edge.
