<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain wide-range view while preventing the occurrence of cone-beam artifact, preventing exposure irradiation on a sample of an X-ray volume which does not contribute to forming of an image, and preventing drastic increase of cost. <P>SOLUTION: An x-ray tube (18) includes an anode assembly (29) structured to rotate generally about a rotational axis (40). The anode assembly (29) includes a first target surface (42) at least partially disposed at a first angle (α) greater than 70 degrees with respect to the rotational axis (40) and a second target surface (46) at least partially disposed at a second angle (β) greater than 70 degrees with respect to the rotational axis (40). The first target surface (42) is structured to emit a first x-ray beam (58) and the second target surface (46) is structured to emit a second x-ray beam (62).
