<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid contacting mechanism improved in an gas-liquid contacting effect in an apparatus which has an internal structure partitioning many flow passages between a liquid distributor arranged in the upper part of the apparatus and a liquid collector arranged in the lower part thereof, in which mass transfer, heat exchange or mixing is performed between gas and liquid. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of stranded or tightly-doubled filaments (20) extending in a horizontal direction are combined at regular intervals in a vertical direction in each of filling body constituent elements (6), and it is thereby possible to promote the retention of liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
