PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote access management system for guaranteeing the validity of an encryption key to be used for user authentication without using any certificate to be issued by a certification authority. SOLUTION: When a user inputs a password and user data to a client remote computer 2 (αin Fig.1), an encryption key to be used for user authentication and an ID number of a USB memory 5 are generated by the client remote computer 2, and the encryption key and the ID number are stored in the USB memory 5 (βin Fig.1), and the password and the user data are transmitted to an authentication server 3 (γin Fig.1). When a remote computer 4 accesses a LAN 6, an authentication code using the encryption key is generated in the USB memory 5 (δin Fig.1), and the authentication server 3 performs user authentication by verifying the authentication code generated by the USB memory 5, and manages remote access to the client remote computer 2 (εin Fig.1).
