<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by eliminating inconvenience by erroneous detection caused by the chattering of a detecting means for detecting the existence of a sheet on a paper feeding tray. <P>SOLUTION: When an empty sensor S2 detects that there is a sheet document on the paper feeding tray 15 in the paper feeding timing of the next sheet document, the paper feeding operation of the sheet document is started, and the empty sensor S2 detects again the existence of the sheet document on the paper feeding tray after starting paper feeding, so that an erroneous jam error can be prevented by recovering the erroneous detection caused by the chattering without impairing the productivity of the sheet by the chattering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
