PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high elevation work vehicle which keeps the comfort or operation feeling of a worker excellent while maintaining the safe travel. SOLUTION: The high elevation work vehicle includes a travel motor for driving right/left driving means, an operation lever capable of setting the rotation speed and a rotation direction of the travel motor according to an operation amount and an operation direction from a neutral position, a speed range selecting switch capable of selecting the rotation speed of the travel motor from high speed to low speed, and a controller for controlling the rotation direction and the rotation speed of the travel motor based on the operation amount and the operation direction of the operation lever or the speed range selected with the speed range selecting switch. A travel control device forcibly sets the rotation speed of the travel motor low when a turn is carried out from a non-operation state, and sets the rotation speed of the travel motor based on the selection with a variable speed range selecting switch when the turn is carried out from a state that a vehicle body is going straight.
