PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can reduce the affection of a noise resulting from the ON/OFF operation of a bias electric current for amplifying a transmitted signal. SOLUTION: A bias gate section 7 supplies the bias electric current to a transmitted pulse generation section 10. The transmitted pulse generation section 10 amplifies input voltage by receiving the supply of the bias electric current and supplies output voltage obtained by amplification to an oscillator array 2. The bias gate section 7 supplies the bias electric current to the transmitted pulse generation section 10 with changing the timing of the supply of the bias electric current, in response to timing of transmitting ultrasonic waves from the oscillator array 2 and the magnitude of the output voltage supplied to the oscillator array 2.
