PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, method and program for information reproduction with improved operability of OSD (On Screen Display), and to provide a recording medium stored with the program for information reproduction. SOLUTION: The horizontal coordinates, vertical coordinates and scale of PiP display included in metadata recorded on an optical disk 13 and input position information touched on the touch panel 11a of a display device 11 are acquired, an area where which of main video information, sub video information and subtitle information is displayed is touched for the input position information is discriminated, and the OSD of the operation relating to the area is generated.
