PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition whose cured product is transparent, excellent in the surface non-tackiness and excellent in the light resistance, thermally yellowing resistance and adhesion. SOLUTION: This thermosetting resin composition includes the following component (A) and component (B), wherein the content ratio of the both components is, by mass, that the component (A):the component (B)=20:80 to 70:30. The component (A) is a cage-model type silsesquioxane containing an alicyclic epoxy group of a specific structure having two or more alicyclic epoxy groups. The component (B) is a hemiacetal ester linkage-containing acrylic copolymer, comprising a constitutional unit b1 which has an alkoxysilyl group, a constitutional unit b2 which has a hemiacetal linkage, and a constitutional unit b3 which has a polydimethyl siloxane structure, having a ratio of b1 through b3, of 3-30 mol% of b1, 20-60 mol% of b2 and 20-75 mol% of b3, but the sum total (b2+b3) of b2 and b3 is 70-97 mol%, and having a mass-average molecular weight of 3,000-20,000.
