摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device detecting holding without providing an exclusive detection means. SOLUTION: A spiral spring 34 is interposed between a seat cushion 22, and a pinion gear 31b of a motor 31. The spiral spring 34 energizes a seat back 21 in a forward tilting direction in relation to the seat cushion 22 by elastic deformation according to turning of a front inclining and turning direction of the pinion gear 31b, and energizes the seat back 21 in a standing direction in relation to the seat cushion 22 by elastic deformation according to turning of a standing and turning direction of the pinion gear 31b. A driving control device 40 drives a motor 31 to rotate the pinion gear 31b by prescribed amount in an opposite direction of the last rotating direction when a relative angle differenceΔθbetween an input side turning angleθg and an output side turning angleθs (a tilting angle of the seat back 21) becomes an angle threshold value (Δθp<SB>1</SB>,Δθp<SB>2</SB>) or more.
