PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid drive device enhancing a regenerative efficiency in a motor generator while suppressing increase in the space and the cost thereof. SOLUTION: The hybrid drive device has a motor generator 4 on a power transmission path between an engine 1 and an automatic transmission apparatus 5, and is equipped with: a torque converter 2 having a pump impeller 2b in which the rotational power of the engine 1 is inputted, a turbine impeller 2c which is rotated by receiving the fluid from the pump impeller 2b to output the rotational power toward the automatic transmission apparatus 5, and a lock-up clutch 2e for transmitting the power in a coupling/uncoupling manner of the pump impeller 2b with/from the turbine impeller 2c; and an oil pump 3 which is integrally rotated with the turbine impeller 2c to generate the hydraulic pressure for operating the automatic transmission apparatus 5 and the lock-up clutch 2e.
