<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a graphic user interface for easily designating adjustment of granularity of parallel processing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A grouping method for processing units where a processing unit comprising basic modules and data is assigned to processors in a program comprising the basic modules and a parallel statement describing relations between parallel processing for the basic modules includes a step for displaying a data flow graph visually showing a processing situation of process unit on the basis of the parallel statement, and a step for designating a candidate of a connection of processing units on the data flow graph.
