<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device capable of keeping cost low while facilitating opening/closing operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sliding door device 20 includes a link mechanism 40 turning and displacing a sliding door body 21 between a fully closed position P1 and a projecting position P3. The link mechanism 40 includes a front side link member 41 and a rear side link member 42 arranged on the rear side with respect to the front side link member 41. A first length L1 between the axis A1 of a rotating shaft on the vehicle body side of the front link member 41 and the axis A2 of a rotating shaft on the sliding door body 21 side is shorter than a second length L2 between the axis A3 of a rotating shaft on the vehicle body side of the rear link member 42 and the axis A4 of a rotating shaft on the sliding door body 21 side.
