<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus equipped with an erroneous transmission preventing function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This communication apparatus can display a confirmation screen of destination information before transmission. The communication apparatus includes a time measuring means and a screen display control means. The time measuring means is a means for counting a predetermined time when no operation is performed to the confirmation screen by a user while displaying the confirmation screen. When the user presses a cancel key while counting the predetermined time by the time measuring means, the screen display control means returns the display of the confirmation screen to the display of an editing screen. On the contrary, when the user presses the cancel key after counting the predetermined time by the time measuring means, the screen display control means finishes the display of the confirmation screen.
