PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect light emitted from a pinhole. Ž
SOLUTION: Illumination light emitted from a light source 14 is condensed on a sample 12 by an objective lens 19 and observation light from the sample 12 is imaged by a condensing lens 21. A light separation member 22 is arranged in a position nearly conjugate to the condensing point of the sample 12, separates the observation light into two luminous fluxes and emits them from the pinholes 22a and 22b formed in a reflecting film 22d provided on one side surface of the light separation member 22. Fibers 23a and 23b transmit the luminous fluxes emitted from the pinholes 22a and 22b of the light separation member 22 to photodetectors 24a and 24b detecting these luminous fluxes. The invention can be applied to a confocal microscope for instance. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
