<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve access speed in a flash memory system having a plurality of data storage areas each storing data of a logical page unit corresponding to areas of a plurality of sectors. Ž<P>SOLUTION: While storing first data that are data corresponding to any logical page into a first data storage area that is any data storage area, concurrently, second data corresponding to the same logical page as the first data are read from a flash memory, and the read second data are stored in a second data storage area that is a data storage area different from the first data storage area. By performing data transfer between the first data storage area and the second data storage area, data wherein a part of the second data is replaced with the first data are created.
