<p>Disclosed are a cyclic shift device, cyclic shift method, LDPC decoding device, television receiver, and receiving system that allow for device miniaturization. In a cyclic shift device (33), which possesses a barrel shifter (61) that performs cyclic shifting on M number of input data, when parallel data configured from a smaller number N of input data than M are cyclically shifted by a shift amount k that is less than N, a selection circuit (62) selects and outputs the 1st through N-kth shift data (#1 through #N-k) output by the barrel shifter (61) as the 1st through N-kth output data (#1 through #N-k), and selects and outputs the N-k+1+(M-N)th through N+(M-N)th shift data (#M-k+1 through #M) output by the barrel shifter (61) as the N-k+1th through Nth output data (#N-k+1 through #N). The present invention can be applied in cases where cyclic shifting is performed.</p> |
