PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing control device using a small number of simple components for reliably constraining or restricting the relative rotation phase of a driven side rotating member into a predetermined phase between the most advanced phase and the most delayed phase. SOLUTION: The valve opening/closing timing control device comprises a restricting member 5 arranged in a storage part 34 of a driving side rotating member 2 or the driven side rotating member 3 so as to be moved into or out of the storage part 34 or the opposite side rotating member, a restricting recessed part 25 formed in an oblong hole shape in the opposite side rotating member so that the restricting member 5 can be forced thereinto, for restricting the relative rotation phase into a range from one of the most advanced phase or the most delayed phase to a predetermined phase between the most advanced phase and the most delayed phase when the restricting member 5 is forced thereinto, and a restriction cancelling passage for communicating one of an advance chamber or a delay chamber with the storage part 34 along with the relative rotating movement of the driven side rotating member to cancel the restriction. When the restricting member 5 abuts on one of both ends of the restricting recessed part 25, the communication of the restriction cancelling passage is interrupted to restrict the movement of the restricting member 5 from the restricting recessed part 25 beyond a predetermined phase side end 25b.
