<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-coated food such as sugar-coated confectionery, excellent in a touch difference between softness of a pill having chewing properties allowing to sufficiently feel the taste of a raw material comprising a central layer, and hardness of a sugar-coated layer having sugar as the main ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The sugar-coated food is obtained by spraying a sugar solution and then adding vitamin C powder to a pill to be a central layer, having chewing properties, and drying the product so as to form a multilayer structure where sugar layers and vitamin C layers are alternately superimposed on each other. Since sugar in each of the layers has a crystal form and the average particle diameter of the crystal is 5-15 μm, the sugar-coated food is hard coated. The sugar-coated confectionery thus obtained has a different hardness between the sugar-coated layer and the central layer, and becomes excellent in a touch difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
