<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it fuss-free and simple to reserve recording of a program advertised by a commercial broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: A TV personal computer 40 detects an advertisement of a program scheduled for broadcasting, from among videos based on TV signals sent by any TV broadcasting station. Then, the TV personal computer 40 obtains the program information for specifying the program (S101 to S107).
