<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a certificate of residence request system in which different treatment differing from one public office to another can be easily performed even when a certificate of residence and the like are requested at a plurality of public offices, and work load and management costs are remarkably reduced. <P>SOLUTION: When request application information for requesting issue of a certificate of residence and the like from a branch terminal 139 is transmitted to a request processing server 101, request application data are created by the request processing server 101 and the request application data and attachment document data are transmitted to a public office server 141. In the public office server 141, the certificate of residence and the like are issued on the basis of the received request application data and are transmitted to the request processing server 101 as certificate of residence data and the like.
