<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a pair of fuel injection valves arranged in parallel to each other by securing a wide attachment space in the sidewall of a throttle body, and cause the fuel injection valves to inject fuel in adequate directions to the respective pair of intake passages. <P>SOLUTION: In this throttle body T1 having fuel injection valves, the intake passage 17 is formed to have a transverse cross-section thereof in an oblong circle having a long diameter L extending in a direction in which a pair of branched paths 8a, 8a, which are formed in downstream parts of the intake port 8 of an engine E, are arranged, and a short diameter S extending orthogonal to the long diameter L; and the pair of fuel injection valves 28, 28 are attached to a sidewall, extending along the long diameter L, of the throttle body T1 so as to be arranged along the long diameter L, and to be allowed to inject fuel toward the pair of branched paths 8a, 8a, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
